Item Details

These cushions are made from the centre panels of a vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. They comprise handloomed thick cotton in a geometric design with rust, indigo and off white colours. The colours are natural dyes and the rust comes from the mineral dye, sienna. I've backed them with a complementary a natural coloured heavy linen and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
The design of these blankets is known as salt and pepper.
