These cushions are made from a vintage Zhuang wedding blanket in thick cotton woven on a backstrap loom. The colours are black, terracotta, off-white and grey (faded from blue) and they are backed with terracotta dyed vintage hemp. They have zip fasteners and feather pads.
They are made by the Nung group within the Zhuang and the design is sometimes referred to as salt and pepper, which is lovely!
