These cushions are made from a vintage Yoruba aso oke. The aso oke is a wonderful greige colour with lots of texture from the hand spun hand loomed cotton. The strips have a lovely berry coloured stripes running down the warp, berry coloured weft stripes and occasional blocks of floating supplementary weft zig zags. I think these are quite understated and chic, but very interesting cushions. I've used the aso oke for both sides of the cushions and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
