Item Details

This pretty cushion is made from a vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. The textile dates to mid C20 and was woven on a narrow loom approx 13" wide. The weave is in cotton and silk and is a lovely dark indigo, with two tones of pink silk stars in supplementary weft. I've packed the cushions in another vintage handwoven textile from East China, and this is a dark blue with red pinstripe. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
