A 19th century French gilded wall mirror. The proportions to this superb mirror are such that it will work perfectly as an overmantle or wall mirror suitable for any room. The original gilding is bright and full of lustre with a decorative design of leaves and flowers entwining around the entire frame. The original mirror plate is in outstanding condition with virtually no imperfections, quite remarkable considering its age and history. Original plate and pine backboards. French gilded mirror circa 1860.
