A substantial free standing open front bookcase. There are two adjustable shelves within this wide open bookcase below a fabulous solid marble top. The marble has a mixture of muted rich colours within the veining. The carcass boasts the prettiest birds eye maple veneers with a subtle stringing and flower inlay to the front and sides all raised on low tapering feet with original patinated brass caps. Original oak panelled back. A superior quality bird’s eye maple book case France circa 1900.
