A 19th century French burr Ash commode. There are five drawers to this exquisite commode, the top and bottom drawer being presented in the exact shape and style. Between the matching drawers are three further drawers each with an integral key for opening. The drawer fronts are decorated with the prettiest veneers, all crammed with bustling burrs and random figuring. The condition is superb with no side cracks or faults with each drawer fitting neatly within the carcass. Raised on four low stepped feet. Gorgeous colour and richly polished surface. French Ash commode circa 1820.
