19th century Butler’s tray with stand. This elegant mahogany tray has an open carrying handle to each side with brass straps to the corners. The tray would have originally been used to carry beverages, afternoon teas etc and presented by the house Butler. The stand for this particular tray has been reduced a little in height making it perfect to use as a low bedside or coffee table. The solid mahogany has developed a deep colour with a richly polished surface over the past century and more. An antique piece with modern day lines, perfect for the period or contemporary lifestyle. English Mahogany Butler’s tray.
