Item Details

An English Georgian oak dresser base. Over two centuries of use and touch have created the most wonderful colour and patina to the surface of this period base. The top is formed from a wide beautifully seasoned oak timber with a narrower back strip above a run of three deep drawers, each drawer fitting neatly and running smoothly. Below the drawers is a length of neat raised oak moulding to the front and sides providing just a little extra detail. The legs are plain and slightly tapered in design giving a genuine period piece a simple contemporary look that will blend perfectly with the antique or modern.
A wide solid oak timber runs the entire length of the dresser back. English oak server/dresser base. Circa 1780.
