Item Details

A low, comfortable English Georgian vernacular reading chair. The horizontal slats to the back of this elegant chair are united by two vertical rails forming a small square design set within a larger open square.
The swept arms are gently curved under to the front with two mahogany rails beneath. The chair seat has been completely reupholstered in neutral linen and trimmed with antiqued brass studs for extra detail.
Raised on tapered mahogany legs with original castors. Solid mahogany English reading/side chair. Circa 1820.
