A 19th century French gilded overmantle / wall mirror. The gilding to the frame of this elegant mirror is in superb original condition, bright and full of lustre, a neat etched design of flowers and leaves entwining around the frame. A continuous row of small gilded beads neatly sit against the later mirror plate. Original thick pine backboards. A superb example of a mirror of this particular design and period.
