Item Details

A 19th century French marble top commode chest of drawers. This elegant commode chest boasts the prettiest walnut veneers to the drawer fronts creating a unique book matched pattern. The top drawer has hidden grooves to the sides for easy opening. The middle three drawers have the benefit of two decorative antiqued brass handles with matching escutcheons. A fifth secret drawer can be found within the plinth base. All drawers fitting perfectly within the carcass. The whole being raised on low concave walnut feet. Original marble top commode, France circa 1870.
