Item Details

A 19th century French wall / overmantle mirror of slightly lower and wider proportions. The surface to this pretty mirror has worn a little thin over the past century revealing the deep rich hue of terracotta beneath the gilding creating a pleasing contrast and so enhancing its character. The original glass mirror plate. Original pine backboards. France circa 1880.
