Item Details

A tall 19th century English carved wood dressing table mirror. This pretty mirror has retained its original painted surface for over a century. The creamy white paint has faded and rubbed a little in places revealing the decorative carved wood frame beneath highlighted with hints of pale grey. The slender oval mirror is surmounted with a decorative crest of carved wood roses this being secured between two tall elegant reeded supports with carved wood acanthus leaf detail. Designed so the mirror may be tilted to the required angle. A decorative carved wood dressing table mirror in original paint. Original oval mirror plate.
