Item Details

A superb pair of early 19th century French walnut fauteuils. The tall rising backs have finely carved detail to the tops with open arms to the sides. The seats are wide with a carved apron below. An extremely comfortable pair of chairs having been re sprung, re webbed and totally re upholstered in 100% neutral linen. Raised on four elegant cabriole legs united at the base by a curvaceous x frame stretcher. France circa 1820.
