A small 19th century French powder room mirror. The original gilded surface to this small scale mirror has faded and rubbed a little over the past century revealing the pale terracotta basecoat creating a combination of warm atmospheric hues. A neat row of tiny gesso beads frame the original mirror plate. Original wooden backboard.
