A decorative pair of giltwood wall sconces. The backs to the dramatic sconces in the style of tall woven baskets crammed with gilded leaves and flowers representing flaming torches each supporting two outstretched gilt metal twin branches with faux cream card candle holder. Original gilded surface with gentle wear. Newly wired to British safety standards ready for immediate installation. Circa 1940
