Item Details

A 19th century French wall mirror. This pretty mirror is presented with both silver and gold leaf decoration. A narrow silver leaf border sits to the extreme edge of the mirror frame with an inner band of gold against a raised wide silver moulded border etched with flowers and leaves with a further gilded band continuing to the other side. A continuous complete row of gilded beads frame the original mirror plate. Some age related foxing to the mirror. Original pine backboards. Louis Philippe mirror.
