Item Details

A 19th century French walnut commode on a smaller scale. The top to this pretty commode is dense black slate with no imperfections, it sits above four deep drawers, all fitting well and running smoothly, the drawer fronts display the prettiest walnut veneers, the figuring being repeated on each of the four drawers, all housed within a sturdy carcass with no splits or faults. Seasoned to the most gorgeous deep nut brown colour with a richly polished surface. Fitted with four keys purely for opening. French walnut commode circa 1830.
