The iconic and trailblazing Danish shelving system 'Royal System' was designed in 1948 by legendary Danish designer Poul Cadovius.


This set consists of three wall-mounted uprights, three shelves, one glass-fronted display cabinet, one drop-down cabinet with a checkerboard front and one record storage unit. All in teak.


Dating from the 1950s-1960s period.


Completely adaptable. The shelves/units can be placed at any position on the uprights so the larger units can float if desired. It can also be added to over time to expand with other components bought separately.


The units are in good vintage condition. There is some wear throughout commensurate with age. There are a couple of ring marks on the shelves and the right-hand side of the record storage unit is damaged but this is hidden if you place the drop down cabinet next to it (as in photos).


Total approximate measurements when wall mounted 199cm high x 165cm wide x 40cm deep.
