Item Details

A late 19thC Sofa frame with a shaped back and mahogany show timber to the the front rail, sides, arm fronts and legs. Carved with decorative neoclassical motifs, there is a vitruvian scroll (wave) along the front rail with a gadrooned moulding. The short cabriole legs, with scallop shell to the knee, terminate in hairy paw feet.
