JOAN RIVERS JEWELLERY HISTORY
Joan Rivers (1933-2014 USA) first began designing & selling her jewellery, clothing and beauty products on the American TV channel QVC in 1990, a few years after the cancellation of her brief stint on The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers. The sales of River`s products were a success, exceeding $1 billion by 2014, making her one of the network`s top sellers.
Joan Rivers often told the story of the bee, and why it had inspired & become emblematic for her. Joan once explained that if you looked at aerodynamics & science, the bumble bee should not be able to fly. Physically, it was not anatomically equipped to soar. Yet it did, defying gravity & logic. The bee defied and beat the odds, a true miracle. Over the years her signature bee collection has had the biggest following between collectors.
THE BEE SYMBOL IN JEWELLERY
The Bee symbolizes wealth, good luck, harmony, creativity and bliss. Bees are also symbolic of hard work and industry as represented by the common phrase `busy as a Bee`. Your hard work will pay off in the end with sweet results.
