A lovely antique Senneh rug, hand woven circa 1900 featuring a Gol Farang (literally meaning ‘foreign flower’) design on a deep indigo field. Finely woven with great quality wool and wonderful colours of blues, greens and reds.
Size: 1.82m x 1.38m (6ft x 4ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Tiny ‘bite’ to corner (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
