This 18th-century Dutch Delftware garlic neck vase has been converted to a lamp. It is decorated in blue and white, with lively birds perched on bushes of flowers, set against ornate scrolls and floral patterns enclosed in cartouches. An elegant frieze of flowers adorns the upper part of the vase, complemented by flowing vertical brushstrokes. With a classic garlic neck shape and timeless colour combination, this Delft lamp makes a refined decorative accent.
