This 19th-century French giltwood mirror features a sumptuous crest of a lyre, surrounded by flowing scrolls of flowers and foliage. The rectangular mirror plate is adorned with an ornate frieze of relief flowers, finished with two pilasters at the bottom. The original mirror plate displays attractive foxing, adding character. This distinctive 19th-century mirror, composed of earlier elements, makes a unique statement piece.
