This late 19th-century Spanish faience dish showcases a luxurious copper lustre glaze in the Hispano-Moresque style. Its intricate design features elaborate scrolls and geometric ornaments arranged in compartments around a raised central medallion adorned with a star motif. Each section is framed by an ornate raised border, with delicate relief dots scattered across the surface. The edge is neatly finished with a line, while the underside is adorned with expressive foliage and squiggle motifs in the same rich copper glaze. Generously sized, this striking decorative dish makes a captivating centerpiece on a shelf or tabletop. Restored.
