Mid-18th Century French cherry wood bombe commode topped with a rare Savoie blue/grey marble. 

Constructed in solid cherrywood the commode has mellowed to a wonderfully soft and subtle colour and still wearing its original cast foliate handles and escutcheons. 

The moulded and panelled sides are solid and are free of splits, sitting on bold robustly carved hoof feet.
