This Bestlite BL1 desk lamp achieved iconic status when it was pictured alongside Winston Churchill in his air raid shelter during the 2nd WW. An original period lamp designed in 1930 by English designer Robert Dudley Best and was proclaimed the first Bauhaus manifestation in the U.K. Wear commensurate with age.
