We are proud to offer a rare example of a mid- 20th Century French money couriers leather and brass carrying bag. Made from a high quality dark tan leather, brass text riveted (Courier 15) and stamped example on both sides of the bag. This artifact can still be used functionally, however due to its leather becoming firm and stiff we feel it would make more of a decorative item.

Item Condition

This item is completely solid in structure and form, aged patina with weathering has taken place across all the surface. The leather has become firm and stiff due to age and use, the brass rivets have developed a natural patination due to age also. The item doesn’t have a key and no longer locks shut. The leather is scuffed and scratched in areas. Please review all the photographs as part of this advert and the condition description.
