Just the most whimsical oil on board painting, a group of 18th century teapots on a scarlet backdrop.

A very slight impasto application, niaeve in style. Eight various styles and sized teapots with patterns and portraits. Instinctively dated and signed bottom right.

Housed in probably its original gesso and gilt frame, some areas of loss.
