A very unusual continental display case, a hefty wooden carcass is encased with thick mirrored glass in side and out. The glass itself is profusely decorated with reverse ground optics and floral etchings. The mirror plate is beautifully foxed and time worn, the odd crack and nibble but considering its age an amazing survivor.

Two removable internal shelves, and a single pane of glass with four brass latches acts as a door.

Likely to be Venetian, circa 1880 in age.
