A wonderful and original George III provincial painted oak games table, with a canted column and cruciform base.
The table has its original painted finish, with painted blue and white games board, a small segmented draw with brass handle.
The chess set in a later addition and was produced by Staunton in the 19th century.
Age related abrasions and knocks, some minor chips and discolouration to the chess pieces.
