Item Details

A large pair of scientific optical mirrors, one concave the other convex. These where used in studies of optical sciences and in particular the study of the properties of light rays. Circa 1880s in age, English in origin. Produced in a hardwood with original ebonised finished and brass adjustable fasteners on either side. The mirrors are fully adjustable in height and angle

Some minor and elderly woodworm to circular bases, and some very minor pitting to the mirror plate
