An excellent quality original Art Deco English silver plated and glass cocktail shaker acid etched with a cockerel, by James Dixon, Sheffield, Circa 1920. Unusually, James Dixon chose to put his hallmark on the inside of the lid (see images).This smart piece of vintage barware is stamped to say it holds 1 pint of liquid.


James Dixon was one of the great English silversmiths of the 19th and early 20th Centuries, renowned for creating good quality barware.
