A simply superb pair of skillfully hand crafted, Arts & Crafts clear glass carafe decanters by James Powell for Whitefriars, Circa 1880. The wrythen and optic glass bodies of each decanter have four dimples and the long spiral necks flare to the pouring lips. Both have polished pontils to the pedestal bases. Exceptional craftsmanship from the late 19th Century, these beautiful decanters would work for wine or water on a dining table to create a smart display.
