Item Details

A Victorian silver plated and horn handled citrus peeler, 19th Century. Each fruit peeling knife works exceedingly well. First score the orange skin (or similar citrus fruit) in vertical lines using the ‘hook’ end of the peeler. Then use the flat blade to peel back each section until you have the fully peeled fruit. Use the implement to take off any excess pith if required. A useful and smart addition to the dining table. The pale handle peeler has been sold.
