A truly splendid 19th century conical tall ship's decanter with extra long air blown and faceted stopper and star-cut base; the fluted neck has a lower faceted ringlet above an unusual and well-engraved intaglio armorial crest of an elephant, Circa 1870s. Holds at least 1.25 litres of wine or water.


The piece shows mild signs of it’s age of over 150 years, with a gentle amount of clouding, nothing major, and some softened nibbles to the decanter rim, otherwise in splendid antique condition and ready for full use.
