A beautiful Victorian giltwood oval marginal plate mirror of good proportions. The oval wood and gesso frame equally interspersed with attractive cartouche decoration. The outer rim with applied leaf foliage. The outer and inner plates with a beveled edge with the inner plate having a large amount of foxing which in our opinion adds to its charm! A really good looking mirror that could be hung portrait or landscape.
