Original Zebra With Foal Pastel by Stephen Pearson. A beautifully executed work by the English Artist Stephen Pearson. Framed and signed.
Stephen Pearson was best known for the famous 1970s painting "Wings of Love". It went on to become the best selling print of the 1970s with estimates at 3-4 millions copies sold. Born in Yorkshire and studied painting in London and northern England, but referred to himself as self-taught. He listed his influences as Caravaggio, Turner, and other artists concerned with representation of light in its most dramatic forms.
