This is a pair of absolutely gorgeous antique Italian chateau candleholders that were discovered recently in Tuscany. Dating from the second half of the 18th century, these highly decorative, hand carved and painted in "black and white" candleholders are magnificent in their form as well as the stunning patina created by the passage of time. They have large steel spikes for candles but could also be used as the bases for other decorative items if desired. Just on their own, they are marvellous and would look truely exceptional when displayed in any stylish and unique interior. They are exactly as I discovered them, each one measuring about 35.5 x 14 x 14 cm or approximately 14 x 5.5 x 5.5 inches [including metal spikes]. For the full condition please refer to the images!
