This is an absolutely fabulous and one of a kind Venetian carnival mask that dates from the 1920's. Created with extremely masterful crafsmanship this remarkable treasure is of exceptional beauty and charisma. It consists of a fine metal frame adorned abundantly in opulent onyx, clear crystals and cut glass, most probably from Murano. The mask has a handle - also embellished with crystals - that could be taken apart in two places in order to be stored easily when not in use. Just the mask without the handle measures about 6.5 x 14.5 cm or approximately 2.5 x 5.7 inches and it is in great condition considering that is about 100 years old. There are no missing stones or crystals. This is a remarkable treasure and exactly as I discovered it recently. For the full condition please refer to the images!
