This is an intriguing collection of five antique Italian votives that date from the 19th century. These are Eyes Ex Votos used to express gratitude for receiving miracles such as a healing, or having one's prayers heard. They are made from silver and silver plated metal with stunning filigree work depicting angels and flowers. They all depict eyes [eyesight]. These are highly decorative antique treasures filled with a curious beauty and meaning. They could be hung on a wall or displayed on a flat surface. The votives are in different sizes ranging from the larges being 19 x 15.5 cm or approximately 7.4 x 6.1 inches to the smallest measuring about 8.5 x 5 cm or 3.3 x 2 inches. They are in lovely antique condition and exactly as I discovered them with their captivating patina. However they could be pollished if desired. For the full condition please refer to the images!
