This is a sacred and rare antique Spanish Flaming heart with seven swords that is made of solid silver. Dating from the 19th century this exquisite heart was created once as an accessory for a devotional statue of Mary. The heart is pierced with swords representing the seven sorrows. On its back the heart has a large pin which allows it to be hooked on other object such as a frame, a textile etc. Otherwise it is just magnificent as it is on a flat surface. This is a large heart measuring about 11.5 x 26.5 x 2 cm or approximately 4.5 x 10.4 x 0.7 inches. In lovely antique condition and exactly as I discovered it recently iin Sevilla.
