A large antique George III style cast iron hob grate.


Finished in black graphite polish, this grate has a smooth finish showcasing ornate designs of figures bordered by bows and foliage.


Dating from circa 1850, this antique hob grate is handsomely cast in the Georgian style, displaying an patterned steel fret to the centre brings the two front sides together for a final touch of beauty.


CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. Fitted with an integral tray to catch ash. Finished in black graphite polish. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor Losses, scuffs, and scratches.
