The fluted column-like plaster jambs are accompanied by impressive capitals, while the frieze displays a carved shell complimented by the veneered finish for a flourish of grandeur.

CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. There is some paint residue to the outer edges where it fits against the wall. There is a small area of decay to the right base at the back. This fireplace would benefit from being set about 15mm into plaster.
