An antique English aesthetic movement fire grate. The three barred fire grate is decoratively cast with an aesthetic movement motif of a sun to its copper canopy, supported by stylised finials above sturdy scrolled feet.
This fire grate is the perfect size for burning both coal or wood. Whatever its use, this Victorian fire grate was certainly designed with both style and practicality in mind, finished with a distinctive time worn copper finish.

CONDITION REPORT

Good structural condition. There is a hairline crack in the back plate. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses, scuffs, and scratches.
