Item Details

This red sandstone lion statue has stood the test of time for more than 180 years. Over the decades, the elements have weathered its surface with a beautiful, aged finish that only time can create.

Yet the details of the lion, hand carved by a craftsman many years ago, remain intact, displaying the lion’s striking character. It is designed in a sitting position – known in heraldry as sejant – and is of good scale, making a handsome statue, ornament or sculpture in a garden or interior.
