A large antique 17th century carved oak panel. Dating to circa 1650, this oak panel displays exceptional hand-carved decoration featuring carvings of barrels growing stylised plants.


This is thought to be an ode to the expeditions that took place during the Elizabethan era, when exotic plants, new foods, and more were being discovered by explorers from across the world.


The oak has a desirable dark finish with slight weathering, leaving the panel with character and charm. The perfect piece for any period property looking to appreciate 17th century English heritage.
