An antique Italian Carrara marble trough sourced from a private UK collection.

This impressive trough is expertly carved from a single block of Carrara marble. At over 270 years old, its sleek design remains complimented by its desirable time worn look, offering a glimpse into its history.

Once used as a sink to prepare for grand dinners or parties in a stately home, this piece could now be used as a a water feature in period and contemporary gardens alike or perhaps even as a unique bathroom or kitchen sink.

CONDITION REPORT

Good structural condition. Weathered finish. Minor surface cracks and natural floors in the marble. The inlet has been filled in, but the drain and overflow are still present. It has a weathered surface finish on the inside and 3 outside edges. One outside edge also has a tooled finish.
