A large antique Victorian mahogany fireplace reclaimed from a large country house in Yorkshire.
Dating to circa 1890, the substantial jambs and impressive timbers make this a truly striking fire surround instilled with uniqueness and charm.
Handcrafted in solid mahogany, this fireplace place has a striking French polish finish, ornately decorated with gadrooned corbels and subtle dentils to the bracketed shelf.

CONDITION REPORT

Good structural condition. Original condition. There is a hole on the left side for a bell push. Small knocks, abrasions, and scratches. Small patches and historic repair to the shelf where an overmantel was once placed. Old French polish and wax finish.
